First Social Soccer Tournament 2013

In 2013, inspired by the Gathering idea, the Wild Geese organised an International Veteran's Social Football tournament called Social Soccer. The event took place on May 24th/25th on the fabulous grounds of Peamount United in west Dublin. The Wild Geese received support from South Dublin County Council, the Gathering, and also an endorsement from the FAI. The staff of Peamount United also did a fantastic job to help on the day.

Social Soccer 2014

Ireland's only International Veteran's tournament returns again on 24th-25th May 2014. Last years event was one of the largest ever events organised by the Wild Geese and 2014 should be just as much fun this year. Once again the Geese plan to host two tournaments with the same teams - an eleven-a-side and a seven-a-side.
